Sexual violence has both short-term and long-term effects on the mental, physical, sexual and reproductive health of women. This makes it a serious human rights and public health issue.
Whether the violence is perpetrated in times of conflict, within a relationship, a community structure, or the larger family, it deeply violates and impacts girls and victims, causing a painful experience for survivors.
At Raven STL, we take action to prevent sexual and intimate partner violence against girls and women using the evidence we generate from existing studies. We promote activities that help prevent sexual violence and related activities.
We create awareness on sexual violence and provide the information and tips to help prevent and/or stop it. Raven STL is all about preventing and ending sexual violence against girls and women worldwide.
