RAVEN

Asking for help can be hard to do. Many men would rather solve problems themselves. At RAVEN we have learned one very important lesson: unless you get help, your violence will continue – and may get worse. If you’ve ever promised her or yourself you’ll change – we’re here to help you.

The first step is to contact us. The man looking to sign-up for RAVEN has to be the one to call or email our office (rather than having his partner, mom, attorney, or probation officer, etc. call for him). RAVEN staff will take some basic information in a brief telephone interview. Men who have a history of untreated substance abuse or unmanaged mental health issues may not be appropriate for the program at this time, and may need to be referred elsewhere to seek treatment before entering a RAVEN group. After this telephone contact, an appointment for an intake assessment will be made. Intake assessments take approximately 2 hours. After the intake appointment, you will be assigned to a RAVEN group that fits in your schedule and will attend at least one individual session with a licensed clinician.
