Volunteer Opportunities

Group Facilitation

Youth Violence Prevention program:
Must have experience with youth, preferably in a group environment. Must be available at least once a week (M-Th) between 3 – 6 pm.

Batterer Intervention Program for men:
Must believe that violence against women must end and that men can change. Must be available at least once a week (on a consistent day) for 3 hours. Groups are offered in the mornings, evenings and on the weekends.

Development and Fundraising

Ideal volunteer would have experience in the field of fund development. Responsibilities could include grant writing, special events, corporate relations, planned giving, or community relations.

Board of Directors

Must be available to attend a monthly meeting from 6 – 8 pm on the 2nd Monday of each month. Active participation on at least one committee (Public Relations/Marketing, Fundraising, Program, Board Development or Finance/Administration).
